De Wilson Football Club is a Grassroot Club in Anambra State which was founded in April 19 2021. It became recognized as a football club by the Anambra Football Association on the 16th of November, 2021 when the club got registered. It’s also a registered entity in the Nigeria Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) as a ‘Private Company Limited By Shares’ with the registration number RC1914116.
The Club’s current football pitch is St John Anglican Parish Football Field which is located at Okpuno, Awka South. De Wilson FC corporate office is at Shop B3, Ultimate Plaza, Awka.
The club’s current coach is Ozoemena Stanley while the Club’s Team manager is Mr Adolphus Ekeke while the club’s captain is Chinonso Okafor. The feeders team coach by name Mr Chinemerem.
The club has 5 major sponsors, they are;
- BC Luxury Unisex Boutique in Oko,
- Ned king Pharmacy in Ifite Awka,
- Foster Apparel in Awka,
- Press Play phones and game shop in Awka,
- Gurdeq Ventures in Lagos State, all in Nigeria.
Decisions are made in the club by the board group of shareholders which Mr Wilson is the major shareholder.
De Wilson FC has featured in few scouting programs so far, the most recent being the the one hosted by Ozor Sports Agency which the scouting personnel was the Russian Mr Andrei Dotsenko. De Wilson FC also looks forward to making it’s debut in the Anambra Independent Football League (AIF League) from the start of next season, by this time, it intends to bring about a lot of reform to the club and league itself.
De Wilson FC has other crew and staff members like the medical, the gym and fitness, the media and so on and the club is almost the only Grassroot club in Anambra state to be paying it’s players and staffs weekly.

Achievements
The club partook in a league competition, which kicked off on the 19th of June 2022, it was the first competition of the club since its creation…The club had unbeaten run during the competition and had the highest number of goal in the tournament..During the competitions , the club produced the highest goal scorer and best keeper to have his clean shit all through the match.
The tournament came to an end on the 24th of September 2022, with the club crowned the champion of the tournament..Several awards and medals were given to some of the players. De wilson fc is know for its beautiful style of play and composure on field.
